108 employees’ strike enters fourth day
Mehsana: The 108 Ambulance employees hunger strike entered in Fourth today on Monday. According to information, an employee from Kheralu has fallen ill and was taken to the hospital.
With this, the employees who have been admitted toll rises to 4.
The 108 emergency ambulance service workers have been on an indefinite strike since July 13 to press their demands. They have been demanding pay hike and reinstatement of their sacked colleagues. The strike took place in Mehsana, Navsari, Surat, Patan and Banaskantha. The workers in Mehsana district were detained while sitting on Dharna at Asha circle on Thursday.
