Chotta Udeipur villagers boycotts election

On December 14, during the second phase and final phase of Gujarat Elections, people of Dhadagaam gave an application letter to the District Collector asking to quash the election.

In the interior of Chhotaudepur district, at the border of Madhya Pradesh, the villagers have threatened and given a memorandum to the district collector due to lack of basic facilities.

According to villagers, there are lack of roads even after 70 years of independence. The village has deprived off of basic facilities whereas Gujarat government talks about the development of Gujarat in the world. If Gujarat is developed, it is shameful not to have the basic facilities in our villages. If roads are not approved, we will boycott the election and also in future, and start the movement like Gandhi on road raging or go on hunger strike for the unlimited term.
