Sati, Mahal and Kakarda villages of Dang district will be developed as Vrindavan village
Dang, July 27: According to Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani's plan, all the three talukas (Sati, Mahal and Kakarda villages) of Dang district will be developed as Vrindavan village. Panchayat President Baburao Chaurya organized one-day long development workshop in Ahwa village.
Appreciating the social responsibility of the District's representatives, Shri Chaurya also expressed his desire to highlight the cultural heritage of the selected villages of the district along with the highest goal of those villages, and the highest standard of living of the rural people.
District Development Officer, HK Wadwaniya, addressing the one-day seminar said that from every talukas one village has been selected and they will be developed as Vrindavan model. Sati village of Bhawanadgad village panchayat of Ahwa taluka, Subirna Mahal, the village of Waqi taluka and Kakarda from the Vaghai taluka have been selected in the first phase. Gradually other villages will also be developed on this model.
Explaining the concept of the state government, the District Development Officer said along with development, the cultural heritage of the village will also be highlighted and he also advocated the common efforts of acquiring a new identity in the tourism sector.
Director of District Rural Development Agency JD Patel said that the purpose of the seminar planning is to bring development in the village and the success of this program is based on the support of the elected representatives. During this time, Patel also took part in the voter correction campaign which will end on July 31, 2017.
In this workshop organized by the District Rural Development Agency's administrative officer, Jalpa Solanki, Karmayogas, all the people, Nailesh Vasawa and Shaileshbhai provided the detailed understanding of the scheme with the PowerPoint presentation.
