Dudh Sagar Dairy in controversy again
Mehsana: It has been found that Dudh Sagar dairy of Mehsana is not paying to milk producers for last many days. On behalf of the elected directors of the Dairy and committee, around four members have submitted an application to the district collector and registrar expressing their anger, on Thursday.
The sale of milk has become a subject of discussion by Manesar unit of Dudh Sagar dairy for milk producers.
Mehsana’s Dudh Sagar dairy is playing a vital role in the field of co-operative sector and placed on the top with a slogan of no.one. But due to alleged scandals and poor administration, the dairy is losing its reputation day by day.
Like every year, four milk producers have found resentment among the milk producers for unpaid money as more than 1.50 million milk producers are being paid very slow till date.The stakeholders of different societies had submitted the application to District Registrar, including District Collector.
Ashok Chaudhary, director of Dudha Sagar Dairy, said that milk producers are very angry due to unpaid money and excited for proper action, otherwise, they will launch an agitation in forth coming days.
The alleged scandal in Dudh Sagar Dairy, happened under Vipul Chaudhary’s knowledge, The complaints have been lodged under co-operative law 76-B but people are not satisfied by the action of the state registrar. Vipul Chaudhary and Company has announced the sale of dairy to new milk producer based dairy in Haryana, which has been built investing crores of rupees of which is currently closed and cattle breeders are very much annoyed.
Due to the closure of the Manesar Dudh Sagar plant, the milk producers have come to a halt. Recently, one crore was spent for the unveiling of a statue which has created a hotch- potch atmosphere inside Dudh Sagar Dairy. At one time, maximum revenue, from the milk of Dudh Sagar Dairy was available by exporting it to Delhi but now reduced to a minimum due to recent corruptions.
