E-Memo no more for now
E-Memo no more for now

Gandhinagar: The government of Gujarat has decided not to send E-Memo to the home of drivers who violate traffic norms. This rule will be implemented in Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Vadodara in Gujarat. Previously, E-memo used to be sent to the drivers home who violated traffic rules.

“The Government of Gujarat has decided not to stop e-memo rules unless the Smart City project is completely executed,” said Home Minister Pradip Singh Jadeja to media.

They said that e-memo will be started after the CCTV system is developed under Smart City. It is noteworthy that the e-memo was being sent home to drivers after being found traffic violations. But now this process has been stopped.
