Democracy is at stake in the country, said Justice J Chelameswar
J Chelameswar, Ranjan Gogoi, Madan Lokur and Kurian Joseph collectively said there is an issue of assignment of cases.
These were the statements of the Judges of SC. But a question arises, what the four sitting judges explained or so-called revealed to media, new to people?
Well, the answer is very simple, no as it is known to every single citizen of this country. Let’s take a recent example of it. Had there been no problem in the justice system of this country, Lalu would not have been out of jail for so long. Similarly, there are hundreds and hundreds of such cases in which could find irregularity.
Unfortunate of the nation is no judges ever take any initiative to speak about those matters. And, when they felt that they are being demoralised by not being given important cases to handle, they broke out before media.
They could have written a letter to the President, PM or even hold talks with law minister if CJI not giving any response to their letter.
Nevertheless, we hope that from now onwards, what the common, poor and helpless people of this country were facing since post-independence would stop, get, fair and transparent justice in this country.
