Important contribution to literature by Jayantilal Dalal

Likewise, in the field of Gujarati literature, Jayatilal Dalal has also earned fame.
So far, Jayantilal Dalal has showcased his intellectuality via 14 novels, 5 collections of short stories and other publications. All his literary work is even read today with great interest by the people at the library. In 2005, his novel “Aankhe Sagpan Aashu” was translated into English. It was published and liked by American. During that time, he was on tour to America and Canada to promote the English edition of his novel.
It is worth mentioning that Jayantilal M Dalal is the first Gujarati author whose literary work has been published in English language after translation. Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi wrote a letter to praise him for his achievements. In his letter, he said, “The manner in which you have showcased Gujarati Literature at international level is really a matter of compliment and you are the pride of Gujarat.” Apart from this, he also praised other novels written by Jayantilal Dalal.
His contribution in the invention of acrylic furniture is unique. He also served as the Vice President of the All India Plastic Manufacturing Association. During that time he also contributed in writing a book explaining the plastic furniture. Apart from this, Jayantilal Dalal has also served as an editor of Porwad Bandhu Magazine of Kapadwanj Porwad Caste, Kala Gurjari and Acrylic News. Jayantilal Dalal is still enthusiastically carrying out his writing work.
