Liquor flush in Gujarat ahead polls

Panchamahal: The cops seem to be performing duty well ahead of the Gujarat Elections. In Bhadrala village of Shahera district liquor worth Rs 28,000 seized. The liquor was hidden in one small hut. While the lady bootlegger has successfully managed to escape away from the village. Police have taken the liquor into the custody and lodged an FIR against the lady. 

As per the sources, assembly election is just around the corner and during this period liquor has been a dominating factor in villages. On Monday night Shahera PI got the call that Sukhiben AKA kokila Amarsinh Baria, from Bhadrala, has been selling liquor. She has been selling liquor from her father’s farm. When the cops reached the place, one lady ran away seeing the cops. Police have seized 57 bottles of ritz gold whisky worth Rs 28,500. Police have conducted the further proceedings.
