People of Vadela to boycott Gujarat Election
People of Vadela to boycott Gujarat Election

People of Gujarat seems to be in no mood of giving any relief to the government. Their senses of mood may trouble the government in the coming election.

'No road, no vote' this is what the slogan, the people of Vadela village in Limkheda taluka has given against the government. They said, no road has been constructed for the last 50 years in the village to go to Maavi Falia Primary School, Vad faliya, Baria Phalia, Talav Phalia, in the village of Limkheda taluka. The villagers, however, decided to boycott Vidhan Sabha election as “No Road no Vote” followed with banners and posters.

The minister of Gujarat Government is agreed to go for construction of metalled road but the concerned administration is believed to be satisfied for construction of soil-Metal made road under MNREGA which was made years back and found broken at many places due to rains. For the last several years, villagers, sarpanches, members of village panchayats, etc. have approached to TDO, DDO and Road and building construction departments but the villagers have been kept aloof from the road, by the system. Villagers also approached to the reception of grievance redressal systems but spite of all efforts, road could not be built so far. So the villagers decided to boycott the next election with posters and banners if there is no road. What will be the decision of the Gujarat government, which talks about the dynamic Gujarat, will show the next time?
