Chhota Udaipur: The constituted Liquor prohibition Law across the Gujarat state was also strictly prosecuted in Chota Udaipur district under the guidance of District Superintendent of Police M.S.Bhabhor. To restrict the illegal activities of the bootleggers, LCB Police inspector K.P.Gamit teamed up with Assistant Superintendent of Police of Chota Udaipur Division Dharmendra Sharma and instructed the relevant police officers to carry out effective operations by raid or checking of suspected vehicles by cordoning.

Police inspector K.P.Gamit got the confirm information from the intelligence about the blue color Tata Ace Mega vehicle as the carrier of illegal foreign liquor to transport foreign liquor from Madhya Pradesh towards Vadodara via Panvad and Chota Udaipur. Hence, Chota Udaipur Fatehpura Naka was cordoned and each passing by vehicles was checked. The Tata Ace - No. GJ 34 T 0453 coming from Panvad was caught with 60 bottles of foreign liquor packed in a white box from the toolbox on the back of the vehicle. Driver Ukeshbhai Mishiyabhai Dhanaka - resi. Shihada, Kavat, Chota Udaipur was arrested with total issues worth Rs. 2,31,040 which includes 60 bottles of foreign liquor worth Rs. 28,440; Tata Ace vehicle No. GJ 34 T 0453 worth Rs. 2,00,000; setting plates worth Rs. 500; cash money Rs. 1100 and a mobile phone worth Rs. 1000. The accused was handed over to Chota Udaipur police station and further investigation was carried out.

Hence, the effective operation by Chota Udaipur district LCB has created pressure on the bootleggers who try to infuse foreign liquor in the state secretly.
