Ahead of Surat night marathon, Rajkot International marathon will be held on 18th February. The event has been organized by Rajkot Municipal Corporation and urged people to register online on the civic body’s portal and mobile app.
According to the RMC, at least 60,000 people including 1,000 professional runners from across the country and globe are likely to take part. The winner of the marathon will receive Rs 24 lakh under various categories.
Indian test player Cheteshwar Pujara will be telecast live on big LED screens at 10 different locations as he is the brand ambassador the event.
Marathon has categorized into five parts, 42.12 km of the full marathon, 21.1 km of half marathon, 10 km of Dream Run and 5 km of Fun Run. Along with this, there will be a special track of 2.5 km run for disabled participants.
