Bihar: Some people pelted stone at the cavalcade of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar when he travelling to a village under state-wide Vikas Samiksha Yatra.
Fortunately, CM Nitish Kumar is safe, though two security personnel guarding the cavalcade go minor injury.
The cavalcade of CM Nitish Kumar moved ahead at the scheduled place and even launched at least 168 welfare schemes which sums up to Rs 272 crores.
While addressing the gatherings to the village, CM Nitish Kumar said, "My purpose is not to run (the) government from the state capital but to assess ground realities and progress of development schemes so that basic amenities like roads, clean water and power reach every village, in fact, every locality, in the state. If anybody is trying to mislead people about my mission, the reality will speak for itself and the mission would never get derailed".
