Students are now spreading voting awareness through paintings

Surendranagar: The countdown to the election has begun.To aware more and more people for voting a drawing competition was held under the banner of 'Matdar Jagruti Abhiyan'.

36 students from 14 colleges took part in this competition.At the end of the competition, three winners were announced.The winners were awarded a shield and trophy.

Having declared 'Matdar Jagruti Abhiyan' the authority is aiming at making maximum voters use their right to vote and getting maximum votes.Authority is preparing for the biggest democratic festival.As a part of this Abhiyan, a drawing competition was organised under the guidance of Udit Agrawal(chief electoral officer).

Dr.Manish Kumar Bansal(DDO), Dr.Pankaj Valvai(deputy electoral officer), Alpeshkumar Patel(organiser) and Ravindra Khatade(probational IAS) were the judges for this competition.The committee declared three winners at the end of the competition.Bansari Kaliya, M.P Shah arts and science college stood first, while Mehul Parmar and Asha Pithwa came second and third.The winners were awarded shipped, trophy and certificates.The consolation prize was given to all the participants.
