Rajpipla: Following the break down of the H1N1 virus all over the state, which claimed the lives of around 230 people, the health officials of the district has sounded alerted for informing people about the disease and create awareness about its prevention.
According to information, the Rajpipla district has registered three cases by far, out of which one death was reported.A survey was conducted by the officials in around 97 villages near by the border. Out of the which 1500 houses of 24 villages were checked.
In the survey, it was found that three swine flu cases have been reported including 75-year-old women of Pratapnagar village, 45-year-old of Rajpipla and a one-year-old infant of Utthadi village in Tilakwada taluka.
"The Survey team immediately urged people to take the necessary medicines if the symptoms of swine flu are there.The officials held group meetings with the villagers to create awareness about the spreading of the infectious virus", said Dr K Subodh, Medical officer of Tilakwada
