Surat: The bridge city Surat will soon get a new bridge from Ved road to Adajan on the Tapi River. The Jilani Bridge will be the longest bridge in the city. The bridge between Dabholi to Jahangirpura was the longest bridge with the length 1095 meter in the city over Tapi River, but now the Jilani Bridge will be the longest bridge of the length 2999 meter. This bridge will be a blessing for the people who daily used the route from Hodi Bangla to Adajan via Chawk Bazar. The inauguration of the bridge was planned on 15 August but due to the strike of contractors and GST, the inauguration will be done around 5 September.
